In the current invention, the locks of sealing webs for earth slits are first cleaned up to the sealing surfaces and then welded together. For this purpose, the associated profiles are provided with water and/or compressed-air ducts and, in the region of the sealing surfaces, with flushing ducts, and the welding appliance is drawn through one of the profiles in such a way that the sealing surfaces are pressed against one another, at the same time being correspondingly plasticised. |
