A low-salt, roasted food preparation is described which is obtainable by boiling in water, drying and roasting a mixture of certain cereal grains and sesame seeds, 2.5 to 7.5 parts by weight of sea salt being added per 100 parts by weight of the roasted mixture. The preparation according to the invention brings out the salt taste very strongly and is therefore suitable for seasoning foods, saving up to 80% of common salt. |
