PURPOSE:To see the outline of the whole waveform data in a short time by setting the time base at right angles to the paper feeding direction of recording paper and reducing and drawing the waveform data on coordinates whose level axis is parallel to the paper feeding direction. CONSTITUTION:When the outline of the waveform data is seen, the time base X is set at right angles to the paper feeding direction A and the waveform data is reduced and printed out on the X-Y axis whose level axis Y is parallel to the paper feeding direction. Further, when a printing trigger is generated at, for example, a 100% position for 100% of the storage capacity of a RAM 2, the RAM 2 fetches the waveform data in 90% of its memory area later and then interrupts the data fetching operation to hold 10% of the waveform data before the trigger and 90% of the waveform data after the trigger. Consequently, the outline of the whole waveform data can be seen in a short time and the enlarged waveform of a specified part is obtained. |
