The invention relates to a roofing element in the form of a rectangular insulating panel (14) consisting of a heat-insulating, in particular mineral material. In order to reduce the mounting time on the building site, a sealing web (16), serving to seal the roof, is laminated directly on to the upper side of the insulating panel.
