A varnishing device in deliverers of printing machines for applying a layer of varnish by means of a varnishing cylinder, to which a back pressure cylinder and a varnishing unit formed by rollers are assigned, the varnishing cylinder being arranged between the upper and the lower strand of the chain circle, and the chain being guided in this region by rails arranged on both sides. The object of the invention, to provide a varnishing device in deliverers of printing machines, which is space-saving in its arrangement, is achieved in that there is provided, between the two rear chain deflection wheels, a varnishing cylinder which is firmly connected to the latter.
