Casting core shooting nozzle which is located in a cooled nozzle plate with its lower end penetrating into the upper half of a core box maintain at a high temperature is made of a cooled upper part and a floating nozzle mouth piece both made of heat conducting material. ADVANTAGE - The amount of free play between the two pieces enables temperature diferentials to be compensated for and the risk of stress build-up to be avoided. (Previously notified in week 8908)
