PURPOSE:To prevent a current flowed to a motor from becoming excess by increasing the time constant of an input filter of a current target value signal in a current regulator when in a regenerative operation mode. CONSTITUTION:An absolute value converter 20 outputs a speed deviation signal from a speed regulator as a current target value signal I* through a filter 38 having a diode 2, filter resistors 23, 26 and a filter capacitor 24. A current regulator 40 outputs as a firing angle command signal V a deviation between the signal I* and an actual current value signal I. When the command signal V is a voltage corresponding to the firing angle larger than the firing angle converted to a regenerative operation mode, a comparator 31 is operated, and a switch 35 is opened. In this manner, the time constant of the filter 38 becomes large, and the rise of the signal I* becomes slow. |
