PURPOSE:To obtain the titled film having excellent heat resistance, slip characteristics and dielectric characteristics, by blending a specific polyarylenesulfide with a styrene based resin at a specific ratio, diluting the blend with the above-mentioned polyarylene sulfide and biaxially stretching the resultant resin composition having a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:Resin composition composed of 100pts.wt. straight-chain polyarylene sulfide [preferably poly-p-phenylene sulfide (copolymer)] having >=1,000 poise, preferably 2,500-10,000 poise melting viscosity and 10-100pts.wt. styrene based resin (e.g. polystyrene) is blended further with the above-mentioned polyarylene sulfide to afford a resin composition containing 0.5-80pts.wt., preferably 3-25pts.wt. polystyrene based resin based on 100pts.wt. polyarylene sulfide. The resin composition is biaxially stretched to provide the aimed film, especially suitable for film for condenser. |
