摘要 In the case of a bypass duct branching vertically downwards from a horizontal gas duct, dust deposits, which are detrimental to operation and are caused by a dust-charged gas flow, occur on a shut-off device located in the bypass duct. By means of the novel duct branching, no dust deposits are to occur and, at the same time, its horizontal part is to be shortened in length. A portion of the inlet end of the bypass duct (2) is divided up into at least two separate sub-ducts (4) which penetrate, in a grid-like manner and vertically with respect to the entire arrangement, the gas duct (1) in a cross-sectional plane (E) of the duct and form through-ducts (5) in the gas duct (1), the sub-ducts (4) located in the gas duct (1) exhibit, in each case on at least one sub-duct wall (6'; 6'') essentially parallel to the direction of the gas flow, an opening (7) which is in the form of a slot in the vertical direction and is intended for the passage of the gas out of the gas duct (1) into the sub-duct (4) of the bypass duct (2), and arranged on each sub-duct opening (7) is a shut-off flap (8) which can pivot about a vertical axis of rotation, belongs to the shut-off device and is intended for closing the sub-duct opening (7) or the through-duct (5), and the size of which is determined by the cross-sectional surface area of the through-duct (5). The main application area is the use in front of a system for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx. <IMAGE>
