Parallel guiding device

In a parallel guiding device for denture work which comprises a baseplate, a column extending vertically upwards from the baseplate, a guide part pivotable relative to the column about an axis parallel to a column longitudinal axis, an arm mounted on the guide part and movable in a movement plane extending at right angles to the column longitudinal axis relative to the column, and comprises a tool receptacle displaceable relative to the arm in the direction of the baseplate, it is intended to achieve parallel guidance of the tool with high precision coupled with easy handling. For this purpose it is proposed that the arm be linearly displaceable relative to the guide part in a direction lying in the movement plane.
