Derivatives of lysine or hydroxylysine (e.g. N-alkyl N-alkylene derivatives, dipeptides with leucine, histidine addition compounds, and aldehydes or desmosine condensation products), preferably with a suitable carrier, are used in pharmaceutical compositions to treat malignant and non-malignant tumours.
