The rotor (5) of the vane-cell pump has a single vane through-slot (6). A vane (7) is slidingly guided in this vane slot. The contact between the heads of the vane and the housing wall is established by a sliding piece (8) which is pivotably mounted in the vane head. The pivotability is produced by a joint or a resilient connection of the sliding piece to the vane head. <IMAGE>
