In a false twist method that uses polyester core yarn and polyester cover yarn to produce spiral yarn, the ratio of fineness between the core yarn and cover yarn is 1:0.5-1:0.75, the ratio between the number of twist turns (n) and the number of untwist turns (r) being n:r=1:0.75-0.85, and the intersecting points between the core and cover yarns in the false twist region being moved. The produced yarn with its dual structure gives an appearance and feel like wool or cotton.
