The objective of the present invention is to perform CA communication for the purpose of accommodating increased speeds, while maintaining high mobility performance, in a mobile communication system wherein the cells of multiple frequency carriers overlap geographically. In a mobile communication system according to the present invention a wireless base station (eNB#a) is equipped with: a reception unit (11) configured so as to receive a "Measurement report" regarding a frequency carrier (F2) from a mobile station (UE); and a transmission unit (15) configured so as to provide a prescribed notification to an adjacent wireless base station (eNB#b) when it is determined that the cell (for example, the cell (B1)) which is reported as the "Best cell" of the frequency carrier (F2) in the "Measurement report" does not belong to the wireless base station (eNB#a). |
