A system of lightweight metal framework for the construction of buildings of one or two storeys. It consists of sections of cold-ormed sheet metal, characterised in that their standard shape comprises a continuous reinforcement of each of the edges of their core. It is also characterised in that the assemblies and the wind bracing can be connected within the space defined by the members and in that the connectors can be joined together using a single attachment. In the case of external walls with a covering with a ventilated cavity, special metal uprights associated with the system can facilitate the fixing of the covering. <IMAGE>
