<p>An improved composite battery (10) and intercell connector (16) are disclosed. The intercell connector has a braided cable (28), preferably flat, between two terminal connectors (24, 26) which are secured at its opposite ends, preferably by die-casting, to accommodate intercell movements in the composite battery. The intercell connector preferably has an integral flexible coating (38) over its entire outer surface. Also disclosed are a method and apparatus for manufacture of such intercell connectors.</p> |
