PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical joint that makes workability high when two deformed bars are mechanically joined together in a straight line and that dispenses with a special purpose machine.SOLUTION: A pair of approximately semi-cylindrical couplers covers a joint-side end of a deformed bar, and the couplers are fixed to the deformed bar by a taper sleeve and a fastening nut so that each male screw forming part can be provided. The male screw forming parts are coupled together by a coupling nut to join the two deformed bars together. Thus, since positions of ribs of the deformed bar do not have to be aligned with each other, workability is improved when the two deformed bars are mechanically joined together in a straight line. Additionally, a special purpose machine is not required either. |
