For a shower cubicle as prefabricated unit, consisting of a shower tray and sidewalls of framework construction, having a chamber bounded inwards by a dividing wall and intended for accommodating electrical and water-supply installations, at least the sanitary, water-conveying fittings being installed on the dividing wall, a solution is provided which, while affording optimal adaptability to the respective connection circumstances of an installation room, enables access to all electrical and water-supply installations for inspection and repair work which arises and at the same time provides additional advantageous possibilities for accommodating washing and cleaning utensils.
