<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate installation of the title biomembrane device to a circular basin by connecting modules packed with carriers such as active carbon to an annular shape to form a concentrical multimodule and covering the surface of the multimodule with a filter cloth, then providing devices for washing inflow side and outflow side surfaces thereof freely vertically movably. CONSTITUTION:The modules 2 packed with the carriers 3 such as active carbon, sand or plastic balls are connected to the annular shape to form the concentrical multimodule 1 which can be applied to the circular basin. The surface of such multimodule 1 is covered with the filter cloth 5. Outflow of the carriers 3 in the modules 2 is prevented by the filter cloth 5. The vertically movable washing device units 6, 7 for washing both faces on the inflow side (outside) and outflow side (inside) of the multimodule 1 are provided. The raw city water is admitted into the multimodule 1 from the outside or inside thereof and the treated water is discharged from the respectively opposite inside or outside by utilizing said units 6, 7, by which the multimodule 1 is continuously backwashed.</p> |
