PURPOSE:To have simultaneous application of coating to both sides of all object by moving it relatively, and supplying the coating to the two sides of the object between two places. CONSTITUTION:When slided in the 8 direction, shutter members 35a, 35b separate from doctor blades 31a, 31b. Thereby a coating 413 is supplied from stagnating parts 36a, 36b simultaneously to both sides of an Al foil 21 and scratched off by the blades 31a, 31b to build coats on the two sides of the Al foil 21 to a certain thickness simultaneously. When the members 35a, 35b are slided in the A direction, on the other band, to come in contact with the blades 31a, 31b, supply of the cooling 43 from its stagnating parts 36a, 36b to the l foil 21 is checked, and no coating is applied on the Al foil 21. Accordingly repetition of movements of the shutter members 35a, 35b in the A and B directions provides intermittent applications of, coating 43 on both sides of the l foil 21. |
