A liposomal preparation useful in intra-articular therapy comprises 4-biphenylacetic acid (felbinac) as an active ingredient. The lipsomes preferably are formed of egg lecithin as the lipid and may also comprise cholesterol. A particle size of 0.1 to 5 mu m is advantageous.
