<p>A conveyor assembly for enabling articles to be moved a short distance from a loading station (X) to a collection station (Y), the articles moving down the conveyor assembly under the action of gravity. The assembly comprises a supporting structure, comprising vertically extending struts (6) by beams (8). A roller assembly (13) comprises spaced side members (14), spaced end member (16), providing a generally rectangular frame, and a plurality of intermediate longitudinal members (18) each of which supports a plurality of rollers (20). The conveyor assembly comprises pivot mounting means (39) for pivotally supporting the roller assembly at one end, and, at the forward end of the roller assembly, retaining means to retain the roller assembly at a desired inclination to the horizontal.</p> |
