<p>The invention relates to a device for making roadwork sites safe, in the case of which one or more traffic safety elements are connected to a common electrical power source. The characterising feature of the invention is that transition pieces are firmly electrically connected via a cable to the traffic safety elements and that a flat cable, which is intended for supplying power, is detachably mounted by means of two externally located strands on the other side of the transmission pieces, via two contact tips which can be plugged through the flat cable. The advantages which are achieved using the invention are, in particularly, that, as a result of the flexible connection capability, the electrical cables for supplying electrical power can be used repeatedly and irrespective of the distance between the traffic safety elements. Furthermore, the labour cost and labour time are considerably reduced by the plug connection, so that the device according to the invention leads to a significant cost saving.</p> |
