PRODUCTION OF MOLDED ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article preventing the dissolution of polystyrene foam used as a substrate by applying and laminating a resin composition containing an unsaturated polyester resin and a specific (meth)acrylic acid ester compound to a polystyrene foam and curing the resin composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective molded article is produced by applying a resin composition containing (A) 100 pts.wt. of an unsaturated polyester and (B) 5-200 pts.wt. of a compound of formula (R is CH3 H; R' is oxaalkylene group having 2-12C alkylene group and 4-12 carbon atoms, containing one or more oxygen atoms for linking separate segments of the alkylene group and containing >=2 carbon atoms in the segment) to (C) a polystyrene foam and/or laminating the above resin composition together with (D) a reinforcing agent to the polystyrene foam and curing the resin composition.
