The invention relates to a method enabling three-dimensional images to be generated by the use of partially reflecting or partially transparent screens. The particles of light forming a two-dimensional image coming from one or more projectors A are partially reflected by the first screen B, the non-reflected part of these particles passes through this screen B in order then to be reflected or partially reflected by one or more other screens C, D, E, etc. The images thus produced, F, F', etc., are simultaneously displayed, thus forming a composite image perceived in depth. The method according to the invention is particularly intended to generate three-dimensional images in the entertainment and communication fields. <IMAGE>
