In a sealing arrangement for a bearing bush (1), with an inner sealing ring (4), which is secured in the bore of the bearing bush (1) and the sealing lips (11) of which point towards a cylindrical journal (3) mounted in the bush, and with an outer sealing ring (5) which is held axially and rests in sealing contact with its front face against the open end of the bearing bush, a sealing-lip contact ring (12), which surrounds the journal (3) and against the outer curved surface of which the sealing lips (11) of the inner sealing ring (4) rest, is held captive in the bearing bush (1). By means of this embodiment, damage to the sealing lips during the relative axial motion between the journal (3) and the bearing bush (1) during assembly is avoided since the sealing lips (11) are protected by the sealing-lip contact ring (12).
