<p>This clamp is of the type composed of a stationary jaw (2) which is integral with a slide rod (3) and a movable jaw (4) with screw clamping means (7-8) and with a foot (4a) which has an aperture (5) passing through it and enabling it to slide on the rod (3) and, via two of its opposite transverse edges (10a-10b), ensuring wedging on the rod (2). According to the invention the two wedging edges consist of rounded protuberances (12-13) with a radius r and which are connected, inside the aperture, to longitudinal faces (15-16) which, being opposite the inner side (3a) and outer side (3b) of the rod (3), are inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of this aperture (5) by the same amount and are parallel to one another, while the rod (3) comprises, in one of its sides (3a-3b), spaced notches (14) which are capable of interacting with one (13) of the protuberances of the aperture (5) in order positively to wedge the foot (4a) of the movable jaw (4) on the rod (3). <IMAGE></p> |
