<p>Surface active agents are prepared from by-products of papermaking. Lignin, modified lignin, resin acid, and tall oil fatty acids are reacted with a polyamine to produce an amine condensate, and this amine condensate is reacted with a bisulfite and formaldehyde in aqueous solution to produce the novel surface active agents.</p> |
