A method for manufacturing a tubular bag comprising a polyethylene/paper-polyethylene composite film is disclosed. The composite film is withdrawn in cycles from a delivery roll and shaped into a tube in a mold and, as such, led to a sealing station in which the filled bags are formed by affixing a cross seal, by applying a polypropylene fabric, coated on both sides with polyethylene, to the composite film and fastening the fabric thereto, shaping the composite film into a tube, heat-sealing the polypropylene fabric to the composite film on both sides and punching a handle cut-out through the composite film and polypropylene fabric. |
