An improved structure for supplying dampening fluid to a lithographic printing press which structure includes a form roller (20) for passing fluid to the plate cylinder (11) and means (21) mounting the form roller (20) for simultaneous contact with the water drum (12) and the plate cylinder (11) and also means for oscillating the form roller (20) slowly axially with respect to the plate cylinder (11) and the water drum (12).
