The invention concerns a control device for a frictionally engaging clutch for a hydrodynamic torque converter, in which a clutch element (8) for engaging and disengaging the clutch (7) is mounted axially, and front-located actuating spaces (10, 11) are acted on by pressure under the control of control valves (15, 16). A lubricant line (28) leads via a cooler (39) to lubricating points (40) of a variable-gear transmission (6) connected on the output side of the torque converter (3), the lubricant line (28) being conected to a controlled return line from the actuation space (11). In order to ensure a sufficient supply of lubricant to the lubricating points (40) and adequate cooling of the pressure/lubricant medium by the cooler (39) in every position of the clutch (7), a branch line (34) from the main pressure line (13) is connected to the lubricant line (28) before the cooler (39) so that, if there is insufficient lubricant, additional lubricant is supplied through the branch line (34) into the lubricant line (28). |
