<p>The present invention relates to a method for making a flat load-lifting sling or strap consisting mainly of a web of cable strands encased in a covering. The method is characterised in that it involves previously producing the web (1) of cable strands (2), then drying this web (1), heating it, arranging it in an open thermoregulated mould, covering it with a polyurethane elastomer, keeping the web (1) of cable strands (2) so covered at this same temperature up to the time out of poise range, that is to say until the crystallisation and cross-linking of the particles, and finally removing the sling or strap so obtained from the mould and allowing it to harden for several hours. <IMAGE></p> |
