The composition is formed from a mixture comprising, by weight, 59 to 67% of barium carbonate, 22 to 26% of titanium oxide, 2 to 6% of calcium carbonate, 0 to 1.1% of strontium carbonate and 3 to 12% of zirconium oxide, the mixture also comprising between 0.04 and 0.9% by weight of adjuvants, these adjuvants comprising at least one compound chosen from among the oxides of cerium, neodymium, lanthanum, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium, and at least one compound chosen from among the oxides of manganese, chromium, cobalt, zinc and copper. Application to the manufacture of ceramic capacitors.
