PURPOSE:To simplify a nozzle construction and to enable miniaturization and lightening by covering the outside plane of the arc range only with jet-air curtain injected from one pair of the nozzle holes arranged with the thermal spraying center axis put between the nozzles. CONSTITUTION:As the jet curtain 21 is formed with one pair of nozzle holes 19 and only the necessary min. range for executing the arc thermal spraying stably is involved with the jet air curtain 21, the construction of the nozzle 3 is simplified and the miniaturization thereof can be easily executed. The arc discharge is continuously executed in the side stream range 30 involved with the jet air curtain 21 and having low gas stream velocity, and the drip of molten material W generated with the arc discharge is fed into the jet air curtain 21 with weak blast in the side stream range 30 to execute atomizing. By this result, the stable arc thermal spraying without any generating pinch phenomenon can be executed. |
