BRICK FOR STEEL-MELTING POT FLOOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a brick for steel-melting pot floors having excellent slag resistance, spalling resistance and wear resistance by containing Al2O3 as a main component and specific amounts of SiC and C. CONSTITUTION:Raw materials containing Al2O3 as a main compound are compounded with (A) 0.5-5wt.% of SiC, (B) 3-10wt.% of C and, if necessary, further (C) 3-20wt.% of MgO to provide a steel-melting pot floor brick used as a work brick for ladle refinement.
