Expansion dowel for anchorage in a bore of a masonry structure

Expansion dowels, comprising an expansion sleeve and an expansion body and a fastening element, are used as fastening anchors in order to achieve high retaining values. The expansion dowels, manufactured from steel, can be inserted in a positively locking manner into bores with an undercut, in a masonry structure. The expansion dowel proposed comprises two parts, the fastening screw engaging, by means of its thread, into the expansion region of the expansion sleeve and expanding said expansion region.
