The present invention relates to an arrangement for automatic drink machines for a combination of indicating the liquid level and making possible emptying of the liquid container 24 of the automatic drink machine. The bottom opening 58 of the container is connected via a flexible tube 28 to a pipe for indicating the liquid level. The free end 34 of the indicator pipe can be closed by means of a shut-off arrangement 32 which is open in the operating position. The indicator pipe 30 is fixed to a lowerable cover 18 with an observation gap 36 for reading off the liquid level. When emptying the container, the shut-off arrangement 32 is closed, the cover is lowered and the shut-off arrangement is opened again for emptying into a bucket or the like. This arrangement makes possible emptying without spillage, even when the automatic drink machine is positioned at a distance from the edge on, for example, a table.
