A pointer instrument has a bearing sleeve (4) fixed to the housing, through which a pointer shaft (3) is led and on which a second pointer shaft (7), designed as a tubular body, is mounted. The outer pointer shaft (7) is driven via a gear mechanism (11) by a measuring mechanism (9), which is aligned axially parallel to a measuring mechanism (1) arranged coaxially to the inner pointer shaft (3).
