The conveyor has a coaxial wheel arrangement (5-8) with a pair of inner wheels and a coaxial pair of outer wheels. A tandem wheel unit (3,4) has a pair of inner wheels (3b), and a horizontal pair of outer wheels at distance. The conveyor also has load containers. There are four chains (1), moving about the coaxial and the tandem wheel units. The containers are fastened to the chains via connection units. The wheel units have a grooved wheel, with a circumferential groove to accommodate a vertical link of the chain.
