<p>The invention relates to the field of deaeration of liquid to be distributed with volume metering. The deaeration device according to the invention comprising a gas detector intended to cooperate with a means of cutting off the flow of liquid, is essentially characterised in that it is constituted by a body (2) inclined with respect to the axis of its upstream inlet (1), the said inlet connecting with an evacuation chamber (9) provided with the detector (13, 14), the body housing a filter (6) disposed downstream of the detector and whose upstream side is closed by a removable cover (5) situated upstream with respect to the said detector, while its downstream side is prolonged by a downstream outlet (7).
