The water-tube steam or hot-water boiler is designed so that the flue gases flow horizontally. The water tubes consist of upper main tubes (5) and lower main tubes (3). These tubes (3,5) are connected by tubes (1 and 2) with each tube having vertical upper and lower end parts which are connected by a horizontal part. These tubes (1,2) are mounted side by side with adjacent tubes having their vertical parts bent in the opposite direction so that the tube assembly forms an H-section. The parts of the tubes forming the horizontal bar of the H are welded together. USE - Water tube boilers.
