Cable guide for electrical component housing - has telescopic link allowing movement of housing on frame rails without damage to cable

An electrical equipment having (1) is supported on telescopic slide units (2,3) allowing movement. At the rear of the housing a connection is provided for a flexible electrical cable secured by a clip (5) to the fixed extension of the slide. Also at the rear is a guide bar (6), that has a ball joint (7) at one end and a bush (11). The other end locates freely in a guide ring (8) fixed to the housing. The cable may be fixed to the bush by clips and allows the housing to be moved through 90 deg. without damage to the cable. ADVANTAGE - Avoids cable damage during movement by keeping cable at height of housing.
