PURPOSE:To remove toner corresponding to the quantity of a toner film accumulating during the period of service and to eliminate insufficient removing and medium overcutting by energizing a removing means with the aid of removing force in response to the operating time of the medium, that is, the revolution speed and only appropriately establishing the corresponding relationship between the operating time and the removal force. CONSTITUTION:A main switch MSW is set from opening to closing by the control of a CPU 210. Here, if the fixed temperature is <=100 deg.C, the copying operation time to this point of a photosensitive body 7 is checked. If the operation time is >= one hour, a rotary brush 34 is rotated at the revolution speed corresponding to the operation time; moreover, brushing is performed while the photosensitive body 7 makes one turn. When brushing is finished, the time corresponding to the quantity of removed toner film is subtracted to prepare for next brushing. In addition, if operation time is >= two hours when the inputted number of copying is finished, the brushing corresponding to the operation for two hours is automatically performed. In such a manner, hardware and control arithmetic logic are simplified, and the design of the device is facilitated. |
