<p>In a positioning device, e. g. a blockable gas spring (10), a piston rod (12) extends inwards and outwards of a cylinder (11) in axial direction. The piston rod (12) is connected with a piston within the cylinder (11). The piston provides a passage (12b) between two working chambers (11a, 11b) on both axial sides of the piston. A valve (12c) is allocated to this passage (12b). The valve (12c) is actuated by an elongate actuating member (14) extending axially within a channel (12f) of the hollow piston rod (12). The exit (12h) of the channel (12f) is sealingly closed, such as to prevent the entrance of agressive media into the channel (12f).</p> |
