The invention relates to a method and a device for casting metals using gasifiable patterns, with which the pouring may be sufficiently controlled to permit dispensing with the coating of the mould, while improving the quality of the cast components and productivity. The casting method of the invention consists in filling the mould with the casting material, in compacting the latter by interaction, in maintaining a reduced pressure inside the mould, in progressively filling the impression cavity by pouring, with controlled flow, the molten metal, up to complete replacement of the cluster of gasifiable patterns, in maintaining a reduced pressure inside the mould until complete solidification of the metal and demoulding. The device of the invention comprises a mould 18, at least one gasifiable pattern 14, a pouring furnace 27, a device 19 making it possible to establish a pressure below atmospheric pressure, a casting device 29 making it possible to cause the molten metal 26 to rise progressively in the impression cavities 14 and a flow regulator 28. <IMAGE>
