PURPOSE:To provide the implement holder for medical treatments which does not reflect light by subjecting the surface of a stainless steel member having a roughened surface to a matte black dyeing and coating the surface at the front end of the member with the thin film of diamond like carbon. CONSTITUTION:A stainless steel material is worked to the shape of the holder for medical treatments and the surface thereof is roughened by a sand blasting, plasma etching, etc.; thereafter, the surface is subjected to the electroless black dyeing by using a black dye. Only the front end of this implement holder is coated with the thin film of the diamond like carbon to increase the surface hardness of the front end. The production of this thin film is executed by a method, for depositing the diamond-like thin film on the member by a plasma vapor deposition method of using hydrocarbon and hydrogen or a gaseous mixture consisting of an inert gas, such as helium and argon at need and impressing 1 to 10GHz microwaves to the member. Both the matte black dyed part and the front end deposited and coated with the thin film of the diamond like carbon are finished as the non reflecting surface in this way. |
