PURPOSE:To improve cutting efficiency by crossing respective wire rows at a predetermined angle and simultaneously cutting a cut member by both the wire rows so as to form prismatic-shaped cut members. CONSTITUTION:Many grooves are formed for a material W to be cut by wire rows A1 of one wire-extending mechanism 2. Further simultaneously, grooves are formed at a right angle with the grooves by wire rows A2 of the other wire-extending mechanism 3. That is, the grooves are simultaneously formed in a plurality of directions at a required angle.
