The invention relates to a signalling light for a motor vehicle, of the type comprising a filament lamp, a reflector and a closure glass. It is characterised in that the reflector (20) is of the spherical type and is centred in the vicinity of the filament (11) of the lamp, and in that flux rectifying means (30) are provided, situated in front of the lamp and capable of deflecting the light rays leaving the region of the filament so that they propagate in a direction essentially parallel to an optical axis (xx), the reflector having, seen from the region of the filament, an angular extent ( OMEGA 1) less than or equal to that ( OMEGA 2) of the rectifying means, on the opposite side to the latter. The invention makes it possible especially to produce rear fog lamps with homogeneous appearance when switched off. <IMAGE>
