PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a residual harmful material harmless and to obtain a valuable and useful material by recycling by compacting and then sintering a mixture of the composition contg. chlorine compds. and/or dioxins and OYAQ-ISHI (porous stone). SOLUTION: A composition such as city refuse incineration ash contg. a chlorine compd. contg. a harmful chlorine component and/or dioxins by 65-95wt.% and 5-35wt.% OYA-ISHI crushed to <=500μm grain size and constituting essentially of high-silica clinoptilolite are mixed so that the total weight is controlled to >=2 times the weight of total chlorine contained in the incineration ash to obtain a mixture. A clayey material as a compacting assistant and a sintering control material are blended into the mixture, water is added, it necessary, and the blend is kneaded to obtain a composition. The composition is compacted into a desired shape, and the compact is dried at <=250 deg.C and then sintered at 1000-1200 deg.C. |
