PURPOSE:To prevent write overlapped and to easily perform write control on a memory for image display by providing a memory for information storage in which an ultrasonic image is stored as polar coordinate information and a coordinate transformer which performs transformation from rectangular coordinate to polar coordinate, and reading out information stored in the memory for image display from the memory for information storage with coordinate transformation. CONSTITUTION:The coordinate transformation of the ultrasonic image is performed based on write address information on X-Y coordinate outputted from a write address generation circuit 26, and the point of the polar coordinate corresponding to the point on the X-Y coordinate decided at the generation circuit 26 is found with the coordinate transformer 36. Than, transformed polar coordinate information is outputted to the memory 34 for information storage, therefore, subject information with an address on the polar coordinate corresponding to a write address on the memory 24 for image display outputted from the write address generation circuit 26 is read out from the memory 34 for information storage, and the subject information is outputted to a data processing circuit 18. Then, the subject information is stored as the information with a prescribed address in the memory 24 for image display after prescribed processing for image display is applied with the data processing circuit 18. |
